Wolfram Weimer becomes Patron of the JFBB
The Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg is pleased to announce that Minister of State Wolfram Weimer, Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, has assumed the role of patron. He succeeds Claudia Roth in this position.
Through his patronage, Wolfram Weimer underscores the cultural and social significance of the festival, which for many years has established itself as an important platform for exchange, encounter, and cinematic diversity.
In his message of greeting, he emphasizes the special role of the festival: “The festival makes a valuable contribution to the visibility of Jewish life and to the promotion of cultural exchange. It creates space for diverse perspectives, encourages dialogue, and thereby strengthens mutual understanding within our society.”
The Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg is delighted to have Wolfram Weimer as a committed patron who strongly supports the festival’s mission and recognizes its importance within the cultural landscape.
The 32nd Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg will take place from May 5–10.
