Jewcy Movies - this year's motto of the Jewish Film Festival Berlin | Brandenburg is visualized for the fourth year in a row by Esra Rotthoff for the artwork of the festival.

The concept for the artistic design of the JFBB is based on the intention to present a contemporary, diverse Jewish perspective that heterogeneously shows the Jewish community across the generations and is already created and strengthened by the equally designed artistic process of the photo shoot.

The situational staging of a familiar situation serves as the subject: a family celebration. A coming together, most different characters forms a new we feeling. Here staged with different filmmakers, actors of the film festival, as well as children, who are all, in one way or another, closely connected to the festival.

On the first photos you can see three of our members from the program collective: Arkadij Khaet, Lea Wohl von Haselberg and Bernd Buder.
