Jeanine Meerapfel is president of the Academy of Arts, multiple award-winning director and author. This year's tribute is dedicated to her.
The homage clearly goes beyond a mere show of works, as the films impress with their timeless personal reflection of the human condition. In double features, some of her films are combined with a thematically appropriate, current film by a young filmmaker.
