Shortly before Zohran Mamdani’s election as mayor, the film follows Jewish New Yorkers through a period of political and social tension. Set against the backdrop of Brighton Beach, private living rooms and the heated street campaign, different generations grapple with issues of belonging, political responsibility and the question: what does it mean to be Jewish today?
