Helene Pivette, former assistant to Jack Garfein, will be present for a film talk after the screening.
Born in 1930 in the former Czechoslovakia, Jack Garfein survived the Auschwitz death camp and went to the USA via Sweden after his liberation. The documentary accompanies Garfein on a journey to Auschwitz and as he confronts the past.
