Billy discovers a love letter written by her 11-year-old son, Elisha, to a classmate she's unfamiliar with. Concerned that her son might be ridiculed in class or get his heart shattered, she resolves to intrude on his friend's birthday party to monitor him closely.

Omri Laron
BIO Omri Laron is an Israeli director and screenwriter who grew up in Kfar-Saba and currently resides in Tel Aviv. He graduated with honors from the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University, earning both a BFA and MFA in film studies. Omri has directed and written two student short films: "Funjoya" in 2016 and "No Homo" in 2019. "More than Friends" is his first independent short film. Omri writes for television and teaches history and cinema at a high school located in Jaffa.
