Boychiks in Berlin! An Evening of Comedy with YidLife Crisis

JMB Altbau EG, Glashof, Lindenstraße 9–14, 10969 Berlin
Language: English, partly Jiddish, Admission: 12/7 EUR

Yidd-ish, kosher-ish, blasphem-ish: Eli Batalion and Jamie Elman alias Chaimie und Leizer of YidLife Crisis reflect on the modern Jewish experience with a healthy dose of humor.
For the first time ever in Berlin, the boychiks from Montreal present an evening of comedy, film and music, which includes investigating the German capital with their special brand of chuzpe. YidLife Crisis is the worldwide first Yiddish web series, an homage to yiddishkayt and a love letter to the Jewish-Canadian experience, complete with bagels and a grain of salt. No need to be Jewish nor knowledge of Yiddish required. Sense of humor requested.
In cooperation with the Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg and the Embassy of Canada to Germany.
