“If we had been born a few decades earlier, we never would have met.” From Jerusalem to Germany, Omer sends video letters to Mara, his German ex, as war unfolds around him. With the camera as his companion and witness, he gradually loses his attachment to the place he once called home.

Director's note:
My graduation film - "From A Distance", is an expression of my passion for life, and for cinema. It is a political statement of a pacifist man, unfit to portray the role imposed upon him in a reality of war and conflict. It is a love letter, and an attempt to give hope in a very deep and narrow space.
