Nitzan Mager
BIO Nitzan is a Brooklyn-based multi-national filmmaker making whip-smart, socially conscious comedy. In addition to DIVING IN, recent works include the short award-winning, Oscar-qualifying short film, RUN AMOK, now available as a Vimeo Staff Pick. Her web anthology series, QUARANTINE, I LOVE YOU screened in the Beyond Film program at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and featured Michael Chernus, Jayne Houdyshell, and Maria Dizzia among others. RUN AMOK is currently in pre-production as a feature film– the screenplay for which was a quarterfinalist for the Academy Nicholl and FinalDraft Big Break prizes, and a second round finalist for the Sundance Screenwriting Lab. Her films have played at festivals across the country including Palm Springs, Tallgrass, Flickers Rhode Island, Starz Denver, Woods Hole, River Run, Gotham Film Week and have won awards from the National Board of Review, NY Women in Film and Television, the Tallgrass Film Festival, and IFF Boston.
