Yakov Ronen has actually left the ultra-Orthodox community in New York, but as a paid job he takes on the night watch at the bedside of a deceased Shoah survivor. During the long night he is confronted with a Mazzik, an invisible demon from Jewish mythology, and a traumatic event from his past.
