Shortfilm program: The Accident

A car accident that occurred 15 years ago, on the way to his bar mitzvah, came to traumatise director Omri's family. His parents subsequently divorced. Omri resolves to make the accident the subject of a feature film. To assist him in recalling the events of back then, he asks his family to undertake the journey again, in this fascinating family study that combines elements of reconstructed documentary with a final scene, more reminiscent of that of a feature film, that turns everything on its head.
