MPA erweitert Partnerschaft mit dem JFBB

The Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg (JFBB) is pleased to announce the expanded partnership with the Motion Picture Association (MPA). In addition to supporting the festival, the MPA will now also promote the JFBB’s diverse workshop program, which gives young people in schools the opportunity to engage creatively with Jewish stories and film culture.

Christian Sommer, Country Representative Germany, Austria & Switzerland of the Motion Picture Association, emphasizes:

“We are proud to further expand our partnership with the JFBB, thereby not only making Jewish stories accessible to an even broader audience in Germany, but also reaching young people through additional school workshops in film education.”

With MPA’s support, the JFBB’s existing workshop program will be strengthened. This includes the workshop on the award-winning short film MASEL TOV COCKTAIL, where students from grade 8 onwards grapple with antisemitism and Jewish everyday life in Germany.

In addition, a repeat of the teacher training “Teachers Day” is planned, organized in cooperation with SchulKinoWochen Berlin and VISION KINO, which provides practical knowledge on antisemitism, remembrance culture, and contemporary Jewish life.
