JFBB Program Director on the Ecumenical Berlinale Jury

JFBB Program Director Lea Wohl von Haselberg is a member of the Ecumenical Jury in the Panorama section at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival.

Since 1992, the Ecumenical Jury has been supported by the international film organizations of the Protestant and Catholic churches, INTERFILM and SIGNIS. The six-member jury awards a main prize for a film from the competition and a prize of €2,500 each for a film from the Panorama section and from the Forum program.

With its awards, the jury honors films that are ethically relevant, take on special responsibility, or contribute to spiritual experiences. In addition to the main prize in the competition, it also awards prizes in the Panorama and Forum sections.

With 22 films in the competition alone, the jury has an extensive program ahead of it this week. We congratulate them on this special task and wish them inspiring screenings and exciting discussions in Berlin.
