We would like to thank our prize donors Madeleine Budde and Jacqueline Hopp (Klein family) as well as Stephan Goericke for their commitment to the JFBB and for promoting Jewish film culture for many years.
Madeleine Budde and Jacqueline Hopp are committed to keeping the memory of their father, the Berlin cinema legend Gershon Klein, alive and at the same time making Jewish life tangible through the prizes they donate.
Stephan Goericke is particularly committed to the visibility of Jewish art and culture as well as the promotion of young Jewish creatives with the Prize for Intercultural Dialogue and the Prize for the Promotion of Young Filmmakers.
