Maciej Tyburski
BIO is a screenwriter and director. He was born in the town of Ithaca and divides his life between the United States and Poland. He graduated in sociology from the University of Warsaw and is currently in the fifth year of directing studies at the Polish National Film School in Lodz. He has directed a total of 12 student short films, including last year’s THE DYBBUK (Special Award at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, Best Narrative Short at the Warsaw Jewish Film Festival). He is an activist, volunteer, and a fan of 1980s horror films.
