“Der Colonel und die Fotos” tells the story of the Pijade-Demajo family from Belgrade, Serbia – without any living witnesses or film footage. A young historian discovers old photos that will not let him go. Using paper techniques, the film team brings the past to life and reconstructs an almost forgotten story.

Kollektiv LIMBUS

BIO Die sechs Studentinnen Paula und Johanna Hahn, Clara Eckardt, Nele Reichel, Luise Schulz und Lisa Müller (LIMBUS Kollektiv) lernten sich an der Hochschule Wismar kennen, wo sie Kommunikationsdesign und Medien studieren. Gemeinsam besuchten sie den AnimaDok-Kurs der Regisseurin Britta Wauer („Rabbi Wolff“, „Im Himmel, unter der Erde“) und entwickelten ein visuelles Konzept für „Der Colonel und die Fotos“, das sie über zwei Jahren mit Legetrick-Technik realisierten. Es ist ihre erste filmische Arbeit.
