An experience of loss: Eden and Nati are siblings and inseparable. When Nati dies in an accident, Eden's life is thrown into complete disarray. She seeks comfort with Nati's secret girlfriend, whose existence she had previously been unaware of. The two grow ever closer. A boldly and dynamically directed feature film debut about a roller-coaster of extreme emotions.

Based on her own experience of losing her brother, up-and-coming director Tom Nesher sensitively captures a tale of dealing with the unimaginable in this, her haunting debut. With great empathy and affection for her characters, as well as a bold script that refuses to shy away from taboos, the film unfolds between carefree and difficult moments, revealing in the process the ambivalence of relationships caught up in exceptional circumstances. Carried by the authentic yet vulnerable debut performances of Lia Elalouf and Darya Rosenn, the film delves into Nati's process of grieving..

COME CLOSER was nominated in 12 categories for the Israeli Ophir Awards and won four awards, including those for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Lead Actress.
