BIO Lewis Rose is a London-based writer and director whose comedy-led work often explores cultural and religious identity. His short film The Chop screened at over 200 festivals, including the BFI London Film Festival, winning 52 awards with top prizes at the Palm Springs International ShortFest, the Krakow Film Festival, and the Denver Film Festival. It was later sold to airlines and broadcasters including Virgin Atlantic and Disney+. His 2021 short Pops, funded by France Télévisions, premiered at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and was acquired by Disney+. His recent short Keep, funded by CNC, screened at over 60 festivals before also being acquired by Disney+. His latest film, Beshert, won the UK Jewish Film Pears Fund and premiered at the UK Jewish Film Festival in 2025. He is currently developing two feature projects which draw on similar topics and tonal sensibilities to his short-form work.
