JFBB on the Road: Nationwide partnerships with Jewish communities

The Berlin-Brandenburg Jewish Film Festival (JFBB) is continuing to expand its collaboration with Jewish communities across Germany. As part of the cultural programme organised by the Central Council of Jews in Germany, selected festival films will go on tour and be screened in various cities, in close cooperation with local communities and cinemas.

The series kicks off with an event organised in collaboration with the Jewish Community of Oldenburg:

12 April 2026, 5 pm, Cine k cinema, Oldenburg: THE ILLEGALS (Meyer Levin, USA, 1947, 52 mins)

The film opens a series of planned screenings that will follow in other cities over the coming months. The programme comprises films from the previous JFBB season – with the exception of THE ILLEGALS.

Through these collaborations, the JFBB not only enhances the visibility of Jewish film culture beyond the capital region, but also promotes cultural exchange and networking within Jewish communities in Germany.
