Premiere of the Jewish Salon Potsdam

On Thursday, 19 December 2024, the first edition of the Jewish Salon Potsdam took place at Villa Bergmann. Entitled ‘Jewish Culture in Germany Today - Breaks, Continuities and New Beginnings’, it was an exciting evening full of dialogue, art and music.

Moderated by actress and author Adriana Altaras, Dr Sarah Hadda (art historian and screenwriter), Masha The Rich Man (singer and songwriter) and Dani Levy (director and actor) discussed the multi-layered perspectives of Jewish culture in Germany. Masha The Rich Man also accompanied the evening with music.

The event was organised by the state capital of Potsdam in cooperation with the Jewish Film Festival Berlin & Brandenburg (JFBB). After the panel discussion, a social get-together with snacks and drinks provided an opportunity to discuss topics in greater depth and network in a relaxed atmosphere.
