The Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg (JFBB) is one of Europe’s leading platforms for Jewish filmmaking, presenting international feature and documentary films each year. For the preparation and implementation of upcoming editions, we are seeking a committed Programme Coordinator.

Your responsibilities
You will act as a key interface between programme, production and PR, accompanying films throughout the entire festival process:

• Communication and contract coordination with rights holders (filmmakers, production companies, world sales and distributors)
• Research and coordination with international film institutes and film schools
• Coordination of all film submissions: viewing, cataloguing and administration
• Maintenance and updating of all relevant film data and databases
• Organisation and coordination of screening materials in close collaboration with technical teams and venues
• Support of the programming team in film viewing and evaluation
• Close collaboration with the PR department on organisational and content-related processes
• Contribution to the preparation and implementation of the festival in Berlin and Brandenburg

Your profile
• Strong organisational skills and a structured working style
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English
• Team player with enthusiasm for international collaboration
• Confident use of Office applications and databases
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility, especially during intense festival periods
• Experience in festival organisation, the film sector or comparable fields is an advantage

Location: Cottbus
Type of employment: Full-time position (freelance / contract-based work also possible)
