The documentary A JEWISH PROBLEM by Ron Rothschild will celebrate its Berlin premiere on April 18, 2026, at achtung berlin filmfestival. The film will screen over the weekend in the Documentary Competition of the Berlin-based festival and is presented in cooperation with the Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg (JFBB).
In his documentary, Ron Rothschild embarks on a personal search: he carefully traces connections between the Shoah and the suffering of Palestinians displaced in 1948, between the collective traumas on both sides and the conflicts of the present. The result is an intimate portrait of loss and displacement—spanning Berlin, Palestine, and Israel.
Following its premiere at achtung berlin filmfestival, A JEWISH PROBLEM will also be screened at the 32nd JFBB. There, the film will be featured in the section KINO FERMISHED, also in cooperation with achtung berlin filmfestival.
