SILA
The solitary routine of a young Palestinian girl sent onto sun-blasted roads to provide for her family by selling sweets, is shaken when a rival boy encroaches on her territory. She finds that every step toward trust is a dangerous gamble against the harsh rules of the street.

Bissan Tibi
BIO is a Palestinian filmmaker born in 1999 and raised in the village of Neve Shalom–Wahat al-Salam. In 2018, she began her Film and Television studies at Tel Aviv University, where she wrote and directed two short films and produced two others. In 2020, she wrote and directed the short film WENEK, and in 2023, she was the casting director of the film All That’s Left of You by Cherien Dabis. In 2025, she wrote and directed the short film SILA, which premiered that year at the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, where it received a Special Mention from the Film Critics’ Forum, as well as a Special Mention Award for Best Actress. SILA was later screened in the official competition of FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH and won an award at the Cinema South Film Festival. Her debut feature documentary, One Street in Silwan, premiered at the 2025 Jerusalem Film Festival and was also screened at the Solidarity Human Rights Film Festival.
