Thirty-five-year-old Noah cares for his father, who has dementia – a life shaped by routine, affection, and grief, as he is also coping with another devastating loss. How and when might a normal life begin again, and what does that even mean?

At a wedding, Noah runs into his ex-girlfriend Hannah. The two haven’t spoken since the loss of their child. Is there any hope of breaking the silence, and will Noah eventually manage to move beyond his state of paralysis? A sensitively observed film about a man who, as we gather, has been thrown off course by multiple family tragedies and must somehow find a way back into everyday life.
