JFBB on Tour: Jewish Cinema Comes to Freiburg and Oldenburg
The Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg (JFBB) continues to expand its nationwide collaborations with Jewish communities across Germany. As part of the cultural programme of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, selected festival films are travelling to different cities, where they are presented in cooperation with local Jewish communities and cinemas. Following the launch of the series in Oldenburg in April, three more screenings are scheduled for October in Freiburg and Oldenburg.
The programme kicks off on 13 October 2026 with a screening of MIDAS MAN in Freiburg. The film tells the story of Brian Epstein, the legendary manager of the Beatles, who played a pivotal role in the band's rise to fame. The following evening, on 14 October, THE COMMUNITY will be screened at the Friedrichsbau-Lichtspiele. On 18 October, the series returns to Oldenburg, where audiences will also have the opportunity to see MIDAS MAN.
