Film education programme for students and teachers

To mark the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day, the JFBB is offering a special film programme for schools on 7 and 8 May 2025.
The film “Art Spiegelman: Disaster is my muse” will be shown :

His graphic novel ‘Maus’, which tells of his father's experiences in the Shoa, made him world-famous. Together with companions, Spiegelman looks back on his life's work, characterised by resistant creativity, self-doubt and a closeness to failure. An intimate portrait of an extraordinarily charismatic man who turned comics into an art form and a means of dealing with trauma.

On 7 May at 11:30 in the filmkunst66 cinema (Berlin Wilmersdorf) and on 8 May at 11:00 in the cinema at MedienCampus Babelsberg.
