Submissions for the JFBB 2026 open on 1 December

The Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg (JFBB) will officially launch its call for entries for the 2026 festival (5–10 May 2026) on 1 December 2025. Filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit their works to Europe's largest forum for Jewish cinema.

We are looking for feature films, documentaries and short films with Jewish themes, perspectives and stories. Whether from Israel, Europe, the USA or other regions, the JFBB presents films that show Jewish life in all its diversity: historical, contemporary, political, personal or humorous.

Submissions are made via the FilmFreeway platform. Further information will be available there shortly.
