Alica Khaet
BIO Alica Khaet was born in 1988 into a Russian-Jewish family in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. In 2006 she emigrated to Israel, where she was admitted to the Bezal'el Academy for Art and Design after a one-year language preparation course. In 2009 she decided to go to Germany, where she initially lived in Göttingen and moved to Halle an der Saale in 2011. Alica Khaet studied art and animation in Jerusalem, Prague and Halle and completed her studies in painting and graphics at the Burg Giebichenstein Art University in Halle in 2018 with a diploma. Her artistic work includes graphics, painting, animation and performative/dance work. She is a scholarship holder of the Saxony-Anhalt Art Foundation, the Kunstverein Röderhof e.V., the WUK Theaterquartier, etc. Khaet's works are represented in the collections of the House for German History in Bonn, the Henneberg Museum in the Veßra Monastery and the Röderhof Art Association. Alica Khaet also regularly exhibits her work throughout Germany and Europe.
